"While I no longer reside in Bakersfield, Jamie and her mother, Beth, were my groomers for about 40+ years and they are AWESOME!!!!! My Poodles and Scotties always looked wonderful and I am proud to recommend Chantell's!!!! They deserve 10 stars!!!!!"

"To add further consideration to Chantell's grooming, I have been a resident of Bakersfield since January 2013 and like most new residents, I googled everything to find my way around town. One of my searches consisted of a dog grooming service for my full breed Shih Tzu. Since she was a baby, Jamie (one of the groomers) took her in and treated her just like the baby she was. From there, my Shih Tzu did not come back to me shaking or barking. If anything, she ran out with her tail wagging and just filled with so much energy. She has never received a cut or horrible treatment from Chantell's. They take pride in what they do. If my dog was behaving badly, I was informed when I picked her up and Jamie would let me know that she had to be placed in time-out. It is now April 2016 and I just booked another appointment for my Shih Tzu. I could go to PetCo but for what? I get the same quality experience and plus more for a price that a full-time student and part-time worker can afford."

"Our experience with Chantell's was good. My wife picked up a stray dog that we decided to keep. The poor thing was so matted we were very eager to get her groomed. We were pleasantly surprised that Chantell's was able to shave her without any nicks or scratches. Their pricing seemed on par with other groomers."
